7/8/14 Jayden's first palate surgery

We got up at 4:30 AM in order to be at the hospital at 6 AM for Jayden's procedures. We felt so sorry for Jayden. He was such a trooper, though. He wanted to help by carrying his luggage. It was so adorable.  While Jayden was in surgery, our friend Susan came to see us with her beautiful little girl, Abigail. It was such a nice visit and really helped to ease our stress and anxiousness of Jayden's procedures. Jayden's surgery lasted approximately two hours. He made it through surgery fine. The pain meds really helped him rest. He was able to be discharged the following morning. 

5/1/14 Jayden's 3rd Birthday!!

Going HOME!!! 4/12

We got up this morning at 3:30 AM for our flight. No one slept well. We got to the airport in plenty of time.  We found a push toy car that Jayden was able to ride in. Jayden fell asleep in the toy car, and we couldn't help but snap a few pictures of him. He kept bobbing his head back and forth. It was so cute.

Detroit, Michigan. Here we come!

When we landed at Louisville airport, we were greeted by grandma, grandpa, Brittany, Justin, and Gianna.  It was so good to see everyone. We all missed them so very much.  We finally got to introduce Jaden to his new forever brother and sisters.  What an amazing and serreal experience.  It's so good to be home!!
